Looking Fine by 2009...or not


Things are not looking so great this week. One of the many things that I hate about being this overweight is that 10 lbs is nothing. When you're thin, losing 10 lbs is HUGE, but when you're as big as I am, it's not a big deal at all. Mostly because I know that I can gain or lose that 10 lbs in the matter of a couple of days.

I had been losing consistently before without really changing my habits, and now for no apparent reason that I can see- I've gained a bunch of it back. I haven't done anything that I can think of that would have caused me to gain the weight back. It's just back.

Oh well, I'm not going to let it get me down. I'm just going to keep on truckin', and maybe next week it will be gone again.

I hope you're having better luck than I am.

Hopefully it's just retained water b/c of salt or something. Hang in there sweetie! I paid all that money for weight watchers and gained 70% of it back. I'm so mad at myself.

Keep on it Shannon! I know it's hard not to get discouraged. I'd wager you'll see it disappear again over this week. Keep up the good work.

I gained weight this week, but I know it's my fault - I can't seem to actually change ALL my bad habits at once - like for two good things I do, I then do five bad things. Or something. I haven't lost any actual weight since starting this thing, just yo yoing between the same 5 pounds....

Oh well - here's hoping we both do better soon!

I'm so sorry for the gain this week, Shannon. It's a hard time of year for extra food - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas - so don't be hard on yourself and like you said, just keep on truckin'! You can do it :-)

Try to keep a positive attitude (easier said than done, right)!!! Hubby keeps telling me the same thing.


Oh, and drink lots of water!

Darn! That stinks about the weight gain. Hopefully you will join us this week for the Workout Challenge. I'm just trying to figure out a way to get myself motivated to get moving.

Hang in there Shannon! I know what you mean...I have tens and and tens and ten times tens to lose. It's hard but with time it does come off!
