A Sunday morning in my church

I try not to get into this kind of topic too much on here, but I guess I'll make an exception today.

I don't consider myself to be a terribly religious person.

I do however consider myself to be a spiritual person.

I was raised Episcopalian, but I stopped going to church once I reached adulthood.

I just find that organized religion is not my thing. It feels too hypocritical to me.

I won't go into all of the details because I believe that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and I have no desire to offend anyone or start a philosophical/theological discussion on my blog.

I just thought that I would provide you with the opportunity to see the world through my eyes on this beautiful Sunday morning.

I hope you enjoyed the show.

Isn't it amazing how God came up with all this beauty in nature??? I could just sit and watch the sights and talk to God all day long!!!

Well, here's something that might knock your socks off. :)

My husband is a pastor.
I, too, hate religion.

Luckily, 'church' for me is not about religion...but about my relationship with God.

Try to forget about the rules & regulations & all that nonsense that some churches push...and focus on who you are in your relationship with God. THAT's all that matters.

Loved the photo show! I am spiritual, sincerely so. I do wish we could find a church nearby, to help our little one have a knowledgeable relationship with God. God is all around us, not just in a structure called church.
