Nothing has changed

I gained .5 lbs from last week.

My main success this last week was cutting WAY back on the snacks. Unfortunately, I ate quite a lot of fast food at meal times.
Pretty much the only exercise I had for the week involved dancing and jumping around like a maniac while screaming my lungs out on Saturday night. Oh, and I went on a field trip with my class on Wednesday, so I got some walking in then.

I am still struggling with taking the whole diet thing seriously. I really want to, but I just get so distracted with everything else going on, that I forget to think about it. Is anyone else struggling with this?

I'm sure you burned a LOT of calories on Saturday with all your jumping around like a maniac. Too bad the NKOTB concert isn't every night.

Yes, I struggle with taking it seriously. I totally get what you are saying, but I hope you are going to stick with the challenge. In the words of Joey, Please don't go girl. Hang in there. You can do it!!

I know what you mean about forgetting about it. When I'm at home alone during the day, I do a pretty good job, but once my husband comes home or we go out, I kind of forget all about it...

Girl, I have battled with my weight my entire life!! I lose, I gain back it all plus some. It's the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Keep hanging in there. Keep your eye on the prize girlfriend!! :o)

Um yeah, I am totally in the same boat as you. *sigh* No advice, cause if I had it for you, I wouldn't be in the same place ;) At least you know you're not alone though :)

Shannon......

Come on you can do this.

Put the snacks down and go brush your teeth.

I always struggle! I always think I can just start tomorrow but tomorrow NEVER comes. I just have to keep myself busy between 3 and 5 in the pm. That's when I really let it go... oh and on the weekends I have to have lunch and dinner at home or it's too easy to just go grab fast food... hubby loves the fast food and was raised on it so I find it so hard to say no to it... maybe I should move to the country where there isn't any fast food!!!

I struggle every day and people say "oh, just think of why you are doing it" and really, that doesn't help me! Take it one day at a time - that is the best we can all do :)
